PUBLIC NOTICE: Area around Rossiter School affected by Flood Mitigation Project

In an ongoing effort to improve the safety and stability of our schools,  the Helena Public Schools announce the following projects  at Rossiter Elementary School.

  1. Construction for the Lewis & Clark County’s Trap Club Flood Mitigation Project has officially begun.  Both parking lots—the main lot and the faculty lot—are currently closed.  These lots will be open the first day of school and buses will run as usual.  Any faculty and visitors visiting the school before the first day are encouraged to park in the Sierra Park parking lot and walk to the school.*
  2. The roofing project continues on the gym. Please continue to use extra caution when around the area.
  3. The east end of Sierra Road (by the school) is currently closed.  Traffic is recommended to find alternative routes.

We apologize for any convenience these projects cause, but all involved parties are dedicated to completing them prior to the first day of school and appreciate your patience.
