Registration for SACC 2025-26 will begin late summer.  Information will be updated as it becomes available.

Summer SACC 2025 Registration Information:.

Central School, June 16- August 15, M-F 7:30-5:30

Currently enrolled SACC family priority registration starts April 14.

Open registration lottery for public starts April 30. To apply please email Jamie at jmerrill@helenaschools.org on or after April 30 with the following information: Child’s name and date of birth, grade they will be entering Fall 2025, school they will attend Fall 2025, weeks you are interested in attending, and contact information for parent responsible for registration. Once names have been gathered, we will enter them into a lottery and get back to you after May 12.

The activity fee is due at the time of registration and will hold your spot. No multi-child or multi-week discounts. To make changes to your schedule, please have changes in writing to jmerrill@helenaschools.org for June by May 10, for July by June 10, and for August by July 10.  If the change deadline is not met, you are responsible for the full amount of the invoice.  No refunds. Payment must be paid in full based on the number of weeks registered by these dates: June 1 for weeks in June, July 1 for weeks in July, and August 1 for weeks in August. We are closed July 3 and 4. See the SACC parent handbook for more information. Best Beginnings families are responsible for the activity fee each week as well as a monthly copay if required.

Week 1- June 16-20 You, Me, and Helena History, $275/child plus a $30 non-refundable activity fee

Welcome to SACC! Meet new friends and explore our town.  Walking trips to learn more about Helena history and its hidden gems.

Week 2- June 23-27 Who Works in Your Community?, $275/child plus a $30 non-refundable activity fee

Look at jobs in your community.  Meet with law enforcement, doctors, pilots, and more.  What do you want to be when you grow up?

Week 3- June 30- July 2 (Closed July 3 and 4) Native Americans in Montana, $165/child plus a $30 non-refundable activity fee

Play some games, design and build your own teepee, and enjoy a SACC powwow with local drummers, dancers, and storytellers.

Week 4- July 7-11 Sports, Health, and Fitness, $275/child plus a $30 non-refundable activity fee

Do you love sports?  Wear your favorite jersey and try out a new sport.  Learn about healthy food and make your own snack on the portable kitchen called the Charlie Cart.

Week 5- July 14-18 It’s Music, Art, and Theater week!, $275/child plus a $30 non-refundable activity fee

Visit a local museum and a theater. Dress up and write your own play. Try a new art medium.  Start your own band!

Week 6- July 21-25 Stampede Week at SACC, $275/child plus a $30 non-refundable activity fee

Put on your boots and learn a western dance.  Learn about animals from pets to livestock.  Celebrate the week with a SACC carnival.

Week 7- July 28-August 1 Geology, Ecology, and the Great Outdoors, $275/child plus a $30 non-refundable activity fee

Grab your binoculars and take a hike.  Let’s get outside and look for rocks, birds, and invertebrates.  Explore the public lands in and around Helena.

Week 8- August 4-8 STEM Week, $275/child plus a $30 non-refundable activity fee

Explore science, technology, engineering, and math in fun and interactive ways. Make astronaut pudding, build your own robot, and create your own experiment.

Week 9- August 11-15 Sunshine Camp, $275/child plus a $60 non-refundable activity fee

Daily trips to the Sunshine Camp on the Little Blackfoot River.  Enjoy traditional camp crafts, wading in the water, and trying your hand at archery.
