The Helena Public Schools would like to thank everyone who participated in the recent Parent/Family survey and Employee survey. Your feedback has been valuable as we work to consider plans for the remainder of this 2020/2021 school year. As noted in our districtwide update on Tuesday, 1/19, a small committee of stakeholders continues to meet to plan for our school environment in a Phase II (all-students). The survey feedback that you provided has been an invaluable resource and results have been posted on our HSD website for your information (link).
As our planning efforts continue, we are seeking feedback on a number of developing ideas. Please note that the decision to phase-up of schools has not been made but in order to consider this possibility, we must continually update our plans. Recently released guidance, including findings released by the CDC this week (link), continue to provide updated insights specific to needed heath and safety protocols. In order to plan effectively, we are seeking additional feedback from you regarding a number of developing facets of our plan.
