Camp Ascension ElementaryElementary Camp Ascension

June 28 – August 12  |  Monday – Thursday 8:45am-3:30pm (TENTATIVE)
Our K-5 district-wide Camp Ascension will focus on academic needs. At this time, space is limited for our elementary and middle school programs, so recommended students will received invitations from their school. Students will be assigned to one of the host schools – Central, Jim Darcy, and Bryant – based on proximity to their neighborhood school.

Each day will include morning reading and math programs followed by summer enrichment opportunities in the afternoon.  Free breakfast and lunch will be included, and SACC coverage will be offered beginning at 7:30am before camp and until 5:30 after camp.

 


Camp Ascension MSMiddle School Camp Ascension

Our district-wide middle school Camp Ascension will occur at both C.R. Anderson and Helena Middle School. Based on limited availability, specific students will receive invitations from their schools to participate.  If additional spots become available, they will be offered to other students.

Programs at this level will focus on academic needs and credit recovery (class/course completion) with reading and math instruction in the mornings and outdoor, hands-on enrichment activities in the afternoon.

 


 

Camp Ascension HSHigh School Camp Ascension

June 16 – July 14  |  Monday – Friday Times TBD
At the high school level, summer programs will focus specifically on credit recovery (class/course completion). These programs are available for all high school classes and will be offered at Helena High and Capital High (both tentative).

Through this program, intensive academic support will be offered to help student recover credit from the 2020/2021 school year.

 

 


 

General Information

All summer programs will be high-energy with a “summer camp” feel to help students be energized and excited about learning. Each day of programming will include academic interventions, credit recovery (high school only), and engaging enrichment opportunities.  Technology will be included in the program, and free breakfast/lunch will be served each day.
